Her views about her work:
‘Perception is the key to every art’. And my own perception is strongly influenced by the great western artists.

What has always fascinated me is the simplification of forms, compositions with bright colours and sometimes strong rhythmical use of lines. I feel my existence with the works of Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Picasso, Van Gogh, Gauguin, Botticelli, Toulouse Lautrec, Modigliani, Warhol, Egypt and Greek vessel artists.

I have experimented with some of the interesting forms… Rearranging them with my own colours, compositions, script and collages with a sincere hope that it will be cherished by all and provide a new insight…..

My painting would blend the past and the present… the East and the West….

Her views about her work:
My Repertoire predominantly consists of works on the female figures done in oils. The oeuvres on display depict the many facets/moods of a woman in the environs of color… Snatches of verses woven into the medium stoke the imagination…..

I have worked on simplification of the female form with major emphasis on the expressive faces… Trying to put forward her moods and the expression of how a woman picks on the various paths with a blink of an eye and a warm smile. A woman with courage and determination.

Here is an effort to portray the woman through the expressive medium of art… As once said in the words of Albert Camus, "Without culture and the relative freedom it implies, society, even when perfect, is but a jungle…. This is why any authentic, creation is a gift to the future.

Her views about her work:
My passion for doing Oil Paintings always provokes me to have creative ideas with new techniques. My paintings tools are BRUSHES & PALETTE KNIFE, gorgeous texture I bring with such magnificent tools.

I had started painting in oil medium as early in 1989. I found myself painting realistic and impressionist works later on. My paintings depict the lives activities, nature, Still Life and culture of the common people of India and around the world. I am very much inspired from European old masters like Leonardo Da Vinci, Raphael, Caravaggio and Rembrandt.

Currently, my major working topics are based on European and Indian theme.

I am known for my strong aesthetic sense, which can be seen sometime in my real life based and imaginary paintings...
